Ingredients
- 500 g ground beef
- 2 tablespoons chili seasoning
- 400 g tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 250 g macaroni pasta
- 250 g Heinz chili sauce
- 200 g shredded cheese
- 1 onion, diced
- 150 g sour cream
Instructions
- Sauté the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Drain excess fat, then add the chili seasoning, tomato sauce, and brown sugar.
- Simmer the chili on low heat for 15 minutes to meld the flavors.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil, then add the macaroni and cook al dente according to package instructions.
- Drain the macaroni and return to the pot.
- Pour the cooked chili into the pot with the macaroni and add the Heinz chili sauce. Stir well.
- Serve hot, garnished with shredded cheese, diced onions, and a dollop of sour cream if desired.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with a plant-based meat alternative.
