  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200250 g Brie (whole cheese)
  • 2 apples, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 60 g pecans (coarsely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh thyme (optional)
  • Baguette or crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C and place the brie on a baking sheet.
  2. Slice the apples thinly and lightly season with salt.
  3. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Caramelize the apples with brown sugar for 4–6 minutes until soft and golden.
  5. Toast the pecans in the skillet until fragrant.
  6. Place the caramelized apples and nuts on top of the brie, drizzle with honey.
  7. Bake the brie for 10–12 minutes or until soft inside.
  8. Serve immediately with baguette or crackers, garnished with thyme.

Notes

Do not bake too long to avoid the cheese running out; using a small dish helps keep it neat. Serve warm with extra nuts and honey on the side.
